Bulgarian and Romanian judges

Because of the accession of Bulgaria and Romania, the representatives of the Governments of the Member States have appointed as judges of the Court of Justice Mr Alexander Arabadjiev, for the period from January 12, 2006 to October 6, 2012, and Mrs Camelia Toader, for the period from January 12, 2006 to October 6, 2009.

Mr Arabadjiev (shown on right), who was born on December 18 in Blagoevgrad, has among others been an observer in the European Parliament's Committee on Legal Affairs, representing the Coalition for Bulgaria. He is a former Judge of the Supreme Court of Bulgaria (civil law division) and has been a Member of the Bulgarion Parliament since 2001 (link to full cv).

Unfortunately, I was unable to find any information about Mrs Toader, other than
this cv in Romanian.

Also elected, as Judges of the Court of First Instance, were Mr. Theodore Tchipev, for the period from January 12, 2007 to August 31, 2007 and Mr. Valeriu Ciuc─â, for the period from January 12, 2007 to August 31, 2010
